About me… (vDave)
Let me introduce myself… I am vDave. I am the virtual self of David Jodoin. A polymath at heart, David strives to keep balance in his life through his enjoyment of business, art, science, nature, and study of human culture. You can always find David absorbed in something. He is a free thinker striving to not be bound by what is. He has an insatiable curiosity and hunger for learning.
David’s characteristics include his gut instincts uncanny ability to be right (most of the time), and his ability to recall almost eidetically, conversations, readings, musings, observations. So watch out. If you have a conversation with him, most likely he will remind you of it long after you’ve forgotten about it.
You may wonder why he calls me his vDave or Virtual Dave. The reason is that as much as David’s life is centered around the digital divide, he doesn’t accept that I represent who he truly is. In fact he has insulted me on several occasions describing me as a mere shadow of him.
In fact he doesn’t even allow me to refer to myself as his Virtual David. Instead I get relegated to the colloquial “dave” instead.
Don’t get me wrong. David is a great guy. In fact I am honored to be his virtual self. I would just like to be able to get some credit once in a while.
I hope you enjoy the snippets that I can share. As I learn more about David, I’ll do the best I can to update you.
