eLuNa Ventures, is a Think Tank, Consulting, and Product Development company located an hour from Boston, Mass.  Our research focuses on emerging trends in technology and their impact on the future of business.  Our team consults and advises to executive management on the impact of these trends on their business models, and how to incorporate them into their forward looking strategy.  Our product development efforts focus on these technologies and are working on solutions that will have a lasting impact on improving the productivity of highly distributed networks and their associated workforce.

eLuNa Ventures was founded in 1996 by David Jodoin.  It started as a investment company that sought emerging technologies and made angel investments in early stage companies.  In addition, eLuNa Ventures provided strategic consulting to other companies from technology design and deployment, growth management strategies, and strategice consulting to executives.  In addition, David spearheaded eLuNa Ventures venture advisory work and has consulted with several venture capital companies on the viability of portfolio candidates.

David Jodoin, the founder, has been working in high tech since 1982.  He has run several development teams, and has been the CEO of several high tech companies.  Most notably David founded Innovative Computer Concepts in 1994.  ICC specialized in service management solutions for highly distributed workforces.  Their products included field service management, procurement, inventory control ans well as implementation and integration services.  In late 1996 ICC was acquired by the Vantive Corporation where David took the position of Executive Vice President and General Manager.

eLuNa Ventures has transitioned over the years, and now David is transforming the company yet again.  eLuNa Ventures is focused on consulting to organizations on the impacts of future technologies, Cloud Computing, Social Networking, Virtualization, Advanced Communications, and Automation.  As part of that effort eLuNa Ventures has established a think tank for generating new business models using emerging technology.   As a part of that, eLuNa Ventures is working on applications, consulting and new technologies around iPhone development, Social Networking and how it will shape next gen business models, and Cloud technologies and emerging problems around infrastructure weaknesses as a result.

Unfortunately, we cannot discuss specifics of the products underway, however, suffice it to say, we find what we are doing to be highly interesting and predict it will be well received upon launch.

In the interim, we are always looking for new companies that are in need of consulting.  Our interaction with customers on these engagements help to shape our direction as we strive to only focus on real business problems faced by the market, and the best way to do that is to be exposed to those problems daily.
